The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of dedicated and talented women who offer their time and talent in the creation of hand knit and crochet shawls for a wide variety of recipients. Each shawl is not only carefully but also prayerfully made, that it might be both a physical and spiritual comfort to whomever may need the encouragement and knowledge that they are cared for and loved. Donations of prayer shawls in the past have been made to those undergoing a medical procedure, as a comfort after the loss of a loved one, during a person’s bereavement process, as a wedding gift, as swaddling blankets for newborns, as a comfort during illness, and many more.
